Responsable de Puesta en Marcha de Plantas Fotovoltaicas

About the role

We are looking for a senior professional to lead the commissioning of photovoltaic power plants in Peru. The role involves supervising start‑up activities, ensuring technical quality, and coordinating the hand‑over to operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the commissioning of solar plants, including generation systems, inverters, transformers, SCADA and trackers.
• Analyze and interpret electrical test results such as I‑V curves, thermography, insulation measurements, high‑voltage cable tests and performance trials.
• Prepare technical documentation: test protocols, commissioning reports, energisation procedures and As‑Built records.
• Manage punch‑list items, delivery packages (TOP) and on‑site quality control.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards (LOTO, work permits, discharge procedures, golden rules).
• Lead commissioning teams, coordinate subcontractors and act as the technical liaison between EPC, the client and the grid operator.
• Oversee plant energisation and the transition to Operation & Maintenance.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the sector, with at least 5 years in commissioning of energy, gas, oil or mining plants.
• Licensed engineer (electrical or electromechanical).
• Degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• Certifications for high‑voltage (AT) and low‑voltage (BT) maneuvers, LOTOTO, valid in Peru.
