Responsive Repairs Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Responsive Repairs Manager to lead the delivery of a high‑performing repairs service for a social housing provider in Liverpool. You will ensure repairs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard while maintaining excellent customer service for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of responsive repairs, overseeing supervisors, operatives and external contractors.
• Monitor performance against KPIs, service standards and budgets, producing regular reports.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company policies.
• Develop and coach the repairs team to achieve operational and customer service targets.
• Manage contractor relationships to secure value for money and quality workmanship.
• Work closely with residents and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and drive service improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing responsive repairs or maintenance operations within social housing or property services.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Knowledge of building maintenance, repair processes and health & safety compliance.
• Experience handling budgets and delivering value for money.
• Excellent stakeholder and customer‑service skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
