Restaurant Development & New Store Opening Manager

About the role

The Grill Stratford is entering a rapid growth phase and needs a hands‑on leader to master its current operations and drive the launch of multiple new locations. You will start by immersing yourself in the Stratford restaurant, then take charge of opening future sites to the same high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Spend 2‑3 months mastering front‑of‑house, kitchen, cash handling, stock control, labour and food‑cost management at the Stratford site.
• Identify and implement operational improvements to boost efficiency, sales and customer experience.
• Develop and coach the existing management team, preparing supervisors for restaurant‑manager roles.
• Lead the end‑to‑end opening of new company‑owned and franchise restaurants, ensuring consistent standards from day one.
• Maintain and enhance the online reputation on Google and TripAdvisor.

Required profile

• Proven experience in restaurant operations or hospitality management, preferably with exposure to multi‑site expansion.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to optimise processes and control costs.
• Excellent leadership and coaching skills, capable of building high‑performing teams.
• Commitment to health‑and‑safety standards, HACCP compliance and food‑quality excellence.
