Restaurant Leader General Manager

About the role

The Restaurant Leader General Manager drives strategic direction, operational standards, and financial performance for a Raising Cane’s restaurant in London. You will lead a crew, develop talent, and ensure an exceptional customer experience in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities

• Forecast, budget, and ensure overall financial success of the restaurant.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, standards, and applicable laws.
• Hire, terminate, and manage payroll for management‑level crew members.
• Create work and training schedules for crew.
• Develop management‑level staff through performance management.
• Act as manager on duty, opening and closing the restaurant and handling cash.
• Monitor profit and loss statements and execute strategies to improve financial and operational performance.
• Enforce Raising Cane’s policies and standards during shifts.
• Deploy crew members, deliver exemplary customer service, and use reward/recognition programs.
• Authorize employee functions requiring manager approval (discounts, time‑clock overrides, etc.).
• Ensure restaurant cleanliness and proper facility maintenance.
• Achieve and maintain training restaurant status and meet or exceed performance metrics.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a restaurant or fast‑food environment.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding setting (standing, walking, lifting, bending).
• Strong understanding of food safety, allergens, and commercial kitchen equipment.
