Restaurant Operations Manager – Hourly

About the role

Raising Cane’s is looking for an Operations Manager to support the Restaurant Leader in delivering operational excellence across the restaurant. This full‑time, hourly position will ensure that all standards, safety procedures and the brand’s culture are consistently upheld.

Key responsibilities

• Act as manager on duty, opening and closing the restaurant each day.
• Manage cash handling, process payments and maintain accountability for all financial transactions.
• Deploy crew members throughout each shift and lead shift‑level meetings.
• Enforce Raising Cane’s policies, safety standards and food‑service procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and ensure all equipment is in good working order.
• Provide exemplary customer service and resolve guest issues promptly.
• Authorize employee functions that require manager approval, such as discounts and time‑clock overrides.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• GCSEs or equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years of restaurant or retail management experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and late evenings.
• Strong leadership mindset with a ‘can‑do’ attitude.

Required skills

• Cash handling and point‑of‑sale (POS) system operation.
• Food safety and hygiene compliance.
• Use of operational tools, forms and logs for shift documentation.
