Restaurant Supervisor - Early Morning Shifts

About the Role

Are you a natural leader with a passion for hospitality? We are looking for a dedicated Restaurant Supervisor to join the Aster & Thyme team at Newcastle International Airport. This is a pivotal role focused on early morning operations, ensuring our guests receive exceptional service from the very start of the day.

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including seamless opening and closing procedures.
• Lead and inspire the team during high-pressure peak periods to maintain service excellence.
• Manage real-time problem solving to ensure smooth operational flow.
• Monitor Point of Sale (POS) performance and proactively suggest service improvements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for both customer inquiries and staff support.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the hospitality sector.
• Reliable and punctual, with the ability to commute to Newcastle Airport for 3:00 AM starts.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a criminal background check.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with verifiable references.
