Retail Assistant – Full‑Time

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Retail Assistant to join our York store. This permanent, full‑time position involves a variety of shifts across five days a week, with a strong focus on customer service and store upkeep.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and help them locate products.
• Operate tills efficiently, offering assistance with packing and checkout.
• Receive deliveries, stock shelves and freezers, and maintain product presentation.
• Keep the shop clean, safe and tidy by following daily and weekly routines.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.

Required profile

• Positive, hard‑working attitude and enjoyment of a busy environment.
• Reliability and willingness to be part of a small, close‑knit team.
• Flexibility to cover shifts, including weekends, when needed.
