Retail Assistant Manager – Golf

About the role

American Golf is looking for a motivated Retail Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in delivering excellent customer service and driving sales within its flagship golf store in Glasgow. You will help create a welcoming environment for golfers of all abilities while contributing to the store’s overall performance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in leading, motivating and developing the sales team.
• Coach staff on sales techniques and ensure high standards of customer service.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business strategy.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Analyse store performance data and implement efficiency improvements.
• Participate in recruitment, training and performance reviews.
