Retail Assistant Manager

About the role

Superdrug is looking for an enthusiastic Retail Assistant Manager to join the team at the Glasgow Fort Shopping Centre. You will work closely with the Store Manager to lead a passionate team, deliver excellent customer service and drive sales in a fast‑moving health and beauty environment.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, inspire and motivate staff to exceed sales targets.
• Drive sales through promotions, effective merchandising and stock control.
• Create an engaging and fun atmosphere for customers and colleagues.
• Maintain operational excellence, including audits, budgets and stock management.
• Support optional piercing services after full training.

Required profile

• Previous experience in retail management, ideally 1+ years.
• Passion for customer service and sales.
• Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Results‑driven mindset with a focus on hitting targets.
