Retail Assistant (Part‑time, 16 hrs/week)

About the role

We are seeking a friendly, reliable Retail Assistant to join our Farmfoods store in Musselburgh on a permanent part‑time basis. You will work a minimum of 16 hours across four days each week, covering a variety of shifts including weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and provide friendly assistance.
• Help shoppers locate products and answer queries.
• Operate the tills efficiently, offering help with bagging and ensuring a pleasant checkout experience.
• Receive deliveries, stock freezers and shelves, and maintain product presentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe and tidy shop environment by completing daily and weekly routines.

Required profile

• Positive, hard‑working attitude and enjoyment of a busy retail environment.
• Reliability and flexibility to cover shifts when needed.
• Ability to work well within a small team and follow rota plans.
