Retail Assistant (Part‑time, 20 hrs/week)

About the role
We are looking for a friendly, part‑time Retail Assistant to join our Farmfoods store in Peterlee. You will work a minimum of 20 hours across five days each week, covering a variety of shifts including weekends.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers with a smile and assist them in locating products.
- Operate the tills, handle transactions and help with bagging.
- Receive deliveries, unload stock and replenish shelves and freezers.
- Maintain a clean, safe and tidy shop environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete daily and weekly routines.
Required profile
- Positive, hard‑working attitude and enjoyment of a busy shop floor.
- Reliability and flexibility to cover shifts when needed.
- Ability to work well within a small team.
Required skills
