Retail Manager – Nespresso Boutique, Edinburgh

About the role

We are recruiting an inspiring, passionate and visionary Retail Manager to lead the Nespresso Edinburgh team. You will be responsible for the boutique’s daily operations, driving commercial objectives, optimising performance and achieving KPI targets.

Key responsibilities

• Translate the boutique’s commercial objectives into tangible KPI’s and set clear goals for the team.
• Develop and execute a strategic plan aligned with wider business goals, working with internal and external stakeholders.
• Align employee work schedules with sales plans to ensure appropriate floor coverage.
• Role‑model and cultivate a culture of outstanding service and best‑in‑class customer experience.
• Act as a passionate Nespresso brand ambassador and promote the brand purpose.
• Inspire, support and develop the team, leading by example.
• Deliver a local calendar of events, including product launches, to raise brand awareness.
• Ensure the boutique operates safely and complies with all regulations.

Required profile

• Proven retail leadership experience, preferably in a luxury environment.
• Track record of managing high‑performing teams with a strong customer‑centric focus.
• Ability to support people’s development and solid understanding of HR best practices and employee‑relations cases.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with customers and the confidence to support and challenge when needed.
• Experience making strategic decisions and action‑planning to drive results.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
