Retail Sales Assistant (Part‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Retail Sales Assistant to join our flagship store in Stevenage. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them find the right golf equipment and accessories while delivering a friendly, knowledgeable service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, assess their needs and provide product advice to support purchase decisions.
• Achieve individual and store sales targets, promote linked sales and upsell where appropriate.
• Maintain tidy and attractive product displays, manage stock levels and perform replenishment tasks.
• Operate the till, process transactions accurately and handle returns or exchanges.
• Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe shopping environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a positive team atmosphere, especially during busy periods.

Required profile

• Enthusiasm for golf or a strong willingness to learn about the sport.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Reliability, punctuality and a team‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Basic cash handling and point‑of‑sale operation.
