Retail Shift Manager – Store Operations

About the role

Lidl is looking for a Retail Shift Manager to keep a Hereford store running smoothly during the 14:00‑23:00 shift. You will lead a team, ensure operational standards are met and deliver an excellent customer experience in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Motivate and support the team while applying Lidl’s Leadership and Company Principles.
• Solve problems quickly, delegate tasks and maintain a productive work atmosphere.
• Manage store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager.
• Oversee freshness, cash handling, inventory and stock management to ensure seamless shifts.
• Deliver a consistently high‑quality experience for every customer.

• Proven experience leading a team in a busy, fast‑moving environment.
• Ability to delegate tasks effectively and keep calm under pressure.
• Friendly, patient demeanor with strong customer focus.
