Retail Store Designer

About the role

The Retail Store Designer will shape the look and feel of Austen & Blake showrooms worldwide. Reporting to senior leadership, you will translate the brand’s premium positioning into elegant, functional retail spaces that enhance the customer journey.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise and design premium showroom environments that reflect the Austen & Blake brand.
• Develop store concepts, spatial plans and interior layouts for new openings and refurbishments.
• Produce detailed technical drawings, floor‑plans and elevations for architects, contractors and shopfitters.
• Ensure designs optimise customer flow, consultation areas and product presentation while meeting commercial targets.
• Verify compliance with building regulations and retail standards and prepare construction documentation.
• Collaborate closely with Retail Operations, Brand, Marketing, Property and senior leadership to deliver projects on time and to specification.

Required profile

• Strong design eye with a deep understanding of luxury retail environments.
• Proven experience in interior design, spatial planning and technical drawing for retail spaces.
• Ability to translate brand strategy into physical environments that are aspirational and welcoming.
• Excellent collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams.
