Retail Store Manager Designate – Flexible Store Role

About the role

Superdrug is looking for a motivated Store Manager Designate to travel between stores in the South West, supporting teams where they are needed most. This temporary, full‑time position offers a chance to develop leadership skills, work on in‑store promotions and prepare for a permanent store manager role.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop store teams to deliver excellent customer service.
• Plan and execute in‑store promotions and visual merchandising.
• Maintain operational standards, including audits, budgeting and stock control.
• Drive sales performance through effective merchandising and stock management.
• Ensure smooth day‑to‑day store operations across multiple locations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in retail management.
• Strong leadership and decision‑making abilities.
• Passion for customer service and achieving sales targets.
• Willingness to travel between stores within a one‑hour radius.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).
