Retail Supervisor – Part‑time (16 hrs/week)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Retail Supervisor to join our Superdrug store in Maldon. Working 16 hours a week on a flexible schedule, you will support the management team in delivering excellent customer service and driving sales.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the store manager with day‑to‑day operations and staff scheduling.
• Motivate and lead a team of sales associates to meet sales, profit and service KPIs.
• Maintain store presentation, stock shelves and ensure the shop looks its best.
• Help reduce shrinkage and minimise till errors.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences, promote Star Buys and, where trained, provide basic piercing services.

Required profile

• Previous supervisory or team‑leader experience in a fast‑paced high‑street retail environment.
• Good understanding of retail KPIs such as sales, profit and service.
• Ability to coach and develop team members.
• Willingness to undertake piercing services after training (not essential).
