Retail Support Manager – Charity Retail

About the role

Join a dynamic charity retail network as a Retail Support Manager, providing hands‑on leadership across multiple stores. You will work closely with the Regional Manager to drive commercial performance while delivering exceptional experiences for customers and donors.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to stores to cover vacancies, sickness and annual leave, offering operational leadership on the shop floor.
• Support the delivery of the retail strategy and help achieve income‑growth targets.
• Promote Gift Aid, coach teams on fundraising and income generation.
• Lead training, development and performance coaching for staff and volunteers.
• Build strong relationships with staff, volunteers, and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of senior retail management experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple sites and teams.
• Track record of delivering commercial results.
• Excellent leadership, communication and people‑development skills.
• Strong organisational and planning ability with a results‑driven mindset.
• Full UK driving licence.
