Retail Trainer – Luxury Fashion (12‑month maternity cover)

About the role

The client, a globally recognised luxury fashion brand, is seeking a Retail Trainer to cover a 12‑month maternity leave. Based in London, the role will focus on coaching and developing retail teams to deliver the brand’s high‑end client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver training programmes on the shop floor and in classroom settings.
• Coach staff in luxury clientelling, selling ceremonies and customer experience standards.
• Assess training needs and create bespoke learning materials.
• Collaborate with store managers and senior leaders to align training with business objectives.
• Monitor performance and provide behavioural feedback to drive improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in luxury retail training, learning & development or a similar coaching role.
• Background in fashion, jewellery or premium retail environments.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to influence and motivate teams.

Required skills

• Knowledge of luxury retail standards and selling ceremonies.
• Experience delivering training both on‑site and in classroom environments.
