Reward Manager – Strategic & Operational Role

About the role

This position sits within a leading UK professional services firm and is responsible for shaping and delivering the organisation's reward strategy. You will work closely with HR leaders and senior business stakeholders to ensure reward practices are fair, competitive and data‑driven.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual salary and compensation review cycles.
• Conduct market benchmarking, pay modelling and salary analysis.
• Design and maintain reward frameworks, job evaluation methods and compensation structures.
• Develop analytics and reporting to support business decisions.
• Drive process improvements and manage reward‑related projects.
• Support diversity, equity and inclusion objectives through reward analysis.
• Advise senior leaders on compensation, pay and recognition matters.
• Partner with HR Centres of Excellence to deliver innovative reward solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in reward, compensation or total rewards.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience delivering change initiatives and managing projects.
• Knowledge of compensation systems and reward technology platforms.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent experience is desirable.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (modelling and data analysis).
• Workday (experience advantageous).
