Rip Out Operative & Driver – Greater Manchester

About the role

We are seeking reliable Rip Out Operatives and Drivers to support kitchen and bathroom refurbishment programmes across social housing sites in Greater Manchester. The role involves demolition, material handling, waste collection and general site duties, with the opportunity for long‑term, permanent employment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out kitchen and bathroom rip‑outs in occupied and void properties, removing units, sanitaryware, flooring, wall coverings and fixtures.
• Load, unload and deliver materials, tools and equipment to site locations safely.
• Collect and dispose of waste in accordance with correct procedures.
• Assist tradespeople with site preparation and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Perform daily vehicle and equipment checks and adhere to health and safety requirements.
• Provide courteous service to residents while working in their homes.

Required profile

• Previous experience in construction, refurbishment or site labouring.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to perform manual handling and physical work.
• Good understanding of health and safety standards.
• Reliable, professional and hardworking attitude.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
