Risk Events Manager

About the role

Diligenta is seeking a Risk Events Manager to lead the handling of business incidents and risk events across its Life and Pensions administration services. The role works closely with Operations, IT, client teams and Lloyds Banking Group to ensure incidents are resolved, root causes are identified and controls are strengthened.

Key responsibilities

• Manage business incidents and risk events in line with governance frameworks and agreed controls.
• Chair meetings with internal stakeholders, Lloyds Banking Group representatives, IT and operational teams to drive incident resolution.
• Track remediation actions, monitor progress and ensure timely completion.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and identify opportunities for process and control improvements.
• Produce management information, reports, agendas and updates for senior stakeholders and governance committees.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert on projects, assessing operational impacts and identifying risks associated with change initiatives.
• Support customer rectification activities, ensuring any detriment is identified and addressed.
• Escalate complex issues when required and deputise for the Incident Management Senior Team Leader as needed.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement activities by analysing trends and sharing technical knowledge.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Financial Services, Life & Pensions, Risk, Governance, Compliance or Operational Oversight environments.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management skills with the ability to influence, challenge and build effective relationships across multiple teams.
• Strong organisational and planning abilities, capable of prioritising workload and managing competing deadlines.
