Risk & Insurance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Risk & Insurance Manager to join the UK/EMEA risk function of a leading global real‑estate services firm. The role is based in London on a hybrid basis and will own the corporate insurance programmes and broker relationships on a fixed‑term basis.

Key responsibilities

• Manage corporate insurance programmes across property, liability and related lines for a diverse UK and EMEA real‑estate portfolio.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for brokers and insurers, coordinating renewals, endorsements and mid‑term adjustments.
• Oversee claims from notification through settlement, working with internal stakeholders and external advisers.
• Support risk identification and mitigation, feeding insights into renewal strategy and risk‑financing decisions.
• Review contracts and lease documentation for insurance and indemnity provisions, escalating material issues.
• Prepare management information and reports on claims trends, premium movements and key risk indicators.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate insurance management, either in‑house or at a broker handling real‑estate/property‑owner risks.
• Strong understanding of property and casualty insurance, preferably with large or multi‑site portfolios.
• Hands‑on experience in claims management and interaction with loss adjusters, brokers and underwriters.
• Excellent stakeholder skills, able to collaborate with finance, legal, asset management and facilities teams.
