Risk & Schedule Assurance Lead – Bilingual (French/English)

About the role

EDF is seeking a Risk & Schedule Assurance Lead to provide independent oversight on the Hinkley Point C nuclear programme. The role is based in Bridgewater, Somerset, with the objective of later relocating to France. You will work closely with senior leaders to ensure cost, schedule and risk baselines are robust and achievable.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver independent assurance across project controls, risk, and schedule management for a nationally significant nuclear project.
• Analyse complex project data, identify emerging risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Challenge and influence delivery teams, governance forums, and senior stakeholders to strengthen confidence in programme performance.
• Support continuous improvement of integrated planning, schedule assurance and risk mitigation practices.
• Travel regularly to the Hinkley Point C construction site and other project locations as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in risk and schedule assurance within large‑scale infrastructure or nuclear environments.
• Ability to provide independent challenge and insight to senior stakeholders.
• Business‑level proficiency in French and English communication.
• Willingness to relocate to France for future EPR2 projects.
