Roadside Technician – Bromley

About the role

The RAC is looking for a skilled Roadside Technician to join its Bromley cluster. You will start and finish each day from your home, providing fast, reliable breakdown assistance to members across South East London.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical roadside repairs, including battery jumps, tyre changes and fault‑finding.
• Diagnose vehicle issues using provided diagnostic kits and tools.
• Deliver excellent member service while ensuring safety and compliance.
• Maintain and manage your RAC van, fuel card and equipment.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with at least 2 years experience, OR 5 years experience as a vehicle technician/mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 penalty points.
