About the role
As a Robotics Software Engineer you will develop and integrate autonomy software for defence platforms. The role blends field work on vehicle prototypes with deep technical work in simulation environments, delivering end‑to‑end solutions for air, land, sea and space systems.
Key responsibilities
- Integrate hardware and software on vehicle platforms and conduct live autonomy testing.
- Develop and validate algorithms in Software‑in‑the‑Loop (SIL) and Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HIL) environments.
- Demo prototypes to customers on‑site and troubleshoot issues in real time.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to build scalable, robust autonomy solutions for defence customers.
Required profile
- Experience working on embedded or robotics software projects.
- Ability to operate in both field and office settings, adapting to fast‑changing priorities.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a hands‑on approach to testing and integration.
Required skills
- Proficiency in software development for robotics or autonomous systems.
- Familiarity with simulation tools and real‑time testing frameworks.
- Understanding of vehicle integration, navigation and control concepts.
