Roofer – Lewisham covering Bromley, Croydon, Dartford & Medway

About the role

The Hyde Group is seeking an experienced roofer to join its property services team in Lewisham. The role focuses on planned roofing projects across Lewisham, Bromley, Croydon, Dartford and Medway, delivering high‑quality repairs, maintenance and installations for domestic properties.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled inspections and assess roofs to determine maintenance or replacement needs.
• Perform roofing repairs and installations, working with tiles, slates, flashing and other materials.
• Apply weatherproofing and protective coatings to extend roof lifespan.
• Maintain a safe working environment and follow all health and safety procedures.
• Manage tools, equipment and material inventories for planned projects.
• Collaborate with the wider maintenance team to ensure smooth project delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a roofer, preferably on planned or project‑based work.
• Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driving licence and customer‑focused attitude.
• Willingness to undergo a basic DBS check.
