Roofer – Scheduled Projects in Croydon

About the role

The Hyde Group is seeking a qualified Roofer to join its property services team in Croydon. You will deliver scheduled roofing repairs, maintenance and installations for domestic properties, ensuring high‑quality workmanship and customer satisfaction while adhering to safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct planned roof inspections and assessments to determine maintenance or replacement needs.
• Carry out scheduled roofing repairs and installations, working with tiles, slates, flashing and other materials.
• Apply weatherproofing and protective coatings to improve roof durability.
• Maintain a safe working environment and follow all health and safety procedures.
• Manage roofing tools, equipment and materials, ensuring availability for planned projects.
• Collaborate with the wider maintenance team to ensure smooth delivery of scheduled works.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a roofer, preferably on planned or project‑based work.
• Strong knowledge of roofing materials, installation techniques and repair methods.
• Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driving licence and customer‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Installation and repair of roofing materials such as tiles, slates and flashing.
• Use of roofing tools and equipment safely.
• Application of weatherproofing and protective coatings.
