Room Manager – Toddlers Room

About the role

We are seeking an experienced early years professional to lead our busy Toddlers Room. As Room Manager you will create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can thrive while guiding a dedicated team of staff.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Toddlers Room, ensuring high standards of care and education.
• Lead, mentor and support teaching assistants and support staff.
• Build strong relationships with families and communicate children’s progress.
• Maintain compliance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and safeguarding policies.
• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate activities that promote learning and development.

Required profile

• Level 3 Early Years qualification or higher.
• Previous experience in an early years setting.
• Leadership or supervisory experience.
• Excellent knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding procedures.
• Positive, organised and enthusiastic approach.
