Royalties Assistant – Hybrid, London

About the role
Join Kobalt’s Royalties team in London and support the end‑to‑end processing of income for music writers and publishers. The role is hybrid, requiring three days a week in the office, and offers the chance to work in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build and configure custom import formats to streamline the ingestion of diverse royalty statements.
- Supervise the full ingestion workflow, proactively identifying and fixing technical import errors.
- Execute rigorous quality‑control checks to ensure data accuracy throughout the quarterly cycle.
- Collaborate with Writer and Publishing Relations, as well as Copyright teams, to resolve queries and maintain smooth processing.
- Take on additional ad‑hoc tasks as required by the team.
Required profile
- Meticulous, detail‑oriented mindset with a proven record of handling complex data sets accurately.
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities, capable of investigating discrepancies.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills to manage multiple workstreams.
- Resilient under repetitive, high‑volume quarterly cycles while meeting strict deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
Required skills
- Basic proficiency in Excel for data‑heavy tasks.
