RPG Software Developer – Hybrid (Leeds/Milton Keynes)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced RPG Software Developer to join a dynamic development team working on business‑critical applications for clients in finance, manufacturing and retail. The role is hybrid, with most work on‑site at our Leeds client location and a monthly visit to our Milton Keynes office.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and support RPG applications across multiple customer projects.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
• Produce technical documentation for new features and enhancements.
• Manage software changes from requirements gathering through to implementation.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to customers where needed.

Required profile

• Commercial experience developing and modernising IBM i / RPG applications.
• Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
• Ability to build strong client relationships and deliver projects from analysis to successful delivery.
