RTA & Personal Injury Case Handler (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an RTA & Personal Injury Case Handler to join our client’s team in Leeds on a hybrid basis. The role involves managing a portfolio of small‑claims and fast‑track RTA claims from instruction through to settlement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and proactively progress a portfolio of small‑claims track and fast‑track RTA claims.
• Maintain communication with clients and all parties, reviewing and responding to correspondence.
• Draft and issue legal proceedings when settlement is not possible pre‑issue.
• Prepare evidence, witness statements and comply with court directions and deadlines.
• Assist solicitors within the personal injury team with case work under supervision.

Required profile

• Previous experience handling OIC and Fast Track RTA claims in a law‑firm environment (preferred).
• Knowledge of OIC and MOJ Pre‑Action Protocol and Civil Procedure Rules for low‑value personal injury claims (advantageous).
• Ability to engage effectively with clients and work towards targets.
• Professional demeanor and ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Experience with OIC and Fast Track RTA claims handling.
• Familiarity with civil procedure rules and pre‑action protocols.
