RTR/Financial Accountant

About the role

The RTR/Financial Accountant will join a global services‑led organisation based in North Manchester, supporting the finance function across a multinational business. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, managing month‑end close activities and providing accurate financial information to aid strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and ensure general ledger accuracy.
• Manage accruals, pre‑payments and other month‑end close tasks.
• Handle inter‑company accounting, resolve differences and improve visibility.
• Liaise with finance and non‑finance stakeholders to answer queries and supply reliable data.
• Monitor and strengthen financial controls, ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance.
• Support audit processes and statutory reporting activities.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified accountant (AAT, ACCA or CIMA) actively studying or with relevant experience.
• Experience in a larger or global organisation is preferred.
• Comfortable working with an ERP system and eager to contribute to system improvements.
• Curious mindset, strong analytical ability and collaborative approach in a fast‑paced international environment.
