Safety Improvement Project Coordinator Internship

About the role

This 12.5‑month placement at Airbus’s Broughton plant will allow you to influence safety strategy and gain hands‑on experience in project management. You will create project plans, engage multi‑functional teams, develop financial business cases and report on project status to improve the safe use of industrial equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage improvement projects that optimise personnel safety and machinery efficiency.
• Collaborate with transnational and local production teams to identify best practices and implement them at the Broughton site.
• Develop and deploy project plans with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering and Safety teams.

Required profile

• Undergraduate studying Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, Occupational Safety or a related field, remaining enrolled for the full placement duration.
• Ability to build business cases, think strategically and translate improvement practices into local project plans.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AI tools.
• Familiarity with Google Suite.
