Salaried General Practitioner – 6 Sessions, East Lothian

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated General Practitioner to join our friendly, innovative practice in Cockenzie, East Lothian. The position is salaried and offers six clinical sessions per week within a newly refurbished health centre serving approximately 10,000 patients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 8 face‑to‑face and 4 telephone appointments per session using the BMA template.
• Participate in training programmes for GPST1, GPST3 trainees, FY2 doctors and medical students.
• Attend daily morning coffee meetings and weekly protected wellbeing hour.
• Utilise AMGMS PracticeVision and Docman Clinical System for patient records.
• Maintain protected admin time each week.

Required profile

• Qualified General Practitioner registered with the GMC.
• Enthusiastic and highly motivated to work within a collaborative team.
• Willingness to contribute to training and educational activities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AMGMS PracticeVision.
• Proficiency with Docman Clinical System.
