Salaried General Practitioner – 6 Sessions per Week

About the role

Bellyeoman Surgery is seeking a salaried General Practitioner to join a large, friendly practice in Dunfermline. The role comprises six clinical sessions per week on weekdays, with the exact days to be confirmed.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality patient consultations across six weekly sessions.
• Participate in duty doctor sessions on a pro‑rata basis.
• Complete associated paperwork and clinical documentation.
• Optionally provide private medical reports and extended‑hours services to increase remuneration.
• Contribute to training of medical students and FY2 doctors.

Required profile

• Fully qualified GP registered with the GMC.
• Experience in primary care, preferably within a team‑based practice.
• Commitment to patient‑centred care and collaborative working.
• Willingness to engage in continuous professional development.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EMIS clinical system.
• Experience using Docman for document management.
• Familiarity with eConsult for online patient interactions.
• Ability to transition to Vision system (planned for 2027).
