Salaried General Practitioner – Dudley, West Midlands

About the role

This is a salaried General Practitioner position within a small, patient‑focused practice in Dudley, West Midlands. The practice benefits from a large primary‑care organisation that provides a centralised triage hub, dedicated IT infrastructure and national career development pathways. The workload is manageable, with limited home visits and no weekend or on‑call duties.

Key responsibilities

• Provide routine and acute primary‑care consultations for a stable patient list.
• Work independently on site while accessing centralised triage support for patient contact requests.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including HCA, Nurse Practitioner, Practice Nurse, Pharmacist, Social Prescriber, Care Coordinators and Physiotherapy input.
• Participate in clinical decision‑support processes using proprietary triage technology.
• Contribute to the practice’s ambition to become a training practice.

Required profile

• Qualified GP with confidence to work independently.
• Experience in NHS primary‑care settings is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to engage with a diverse patient demographic (Pakistani, Nigerian, Kurdish communities).
• Commitment to a stable, long‑term role without extended hours or weekend work.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the SystmOne clinical system.
