Salaried General Practitioner (GP)

About the role

Eyam Surgery, part of the not‑for‑profit DHU Healthcare group, is seeking a salaried General Practitioner to join its primary‑care team. You will provide patient‑centred care across the lifespan, from newborns to end‑of‑life support, within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions in both routine and urgent settings.
• Deliver safe, effective treatment plans and follow‑up care for diverse local communities.
• Work alongside practice nurses, clinical pharmacists, healthcare assistants and care coordinators to ensure coordinated patient pathways.
• Participate in service development, operational improvement and quality‑enhancement initiatives.
• Contribute to teaching, mentorship and leadership activities as appropriate.

Required profile

• Fully qualified GP with a current licence to practise in the UK.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality, patient‑focused care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to engage in service design and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EMIS Web clinical systems.
