Salaried General Practitioner (GP)

About the role

Eyam Surgery, part of DHU Healthcare, is seeking a salaried General Practitioner to provide high‑quality, patient‑centred care across all stages of life. You will join a multidisciplinary primary‑care team and deliver safe, effective treatment in both routine and urgent settings.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage a broad range of acute and chronic presentations.
• Deliver routine and urgent care, including end‑of‑life support.
• Collaborate with GPs, practice nurses, clinical pharmacists, healthcare assistants and care coordinators.
• Contribute to service development, operational improvements and innovative care models.
• Maintain accurate patient records using EMIS Web clinical systems.

Required profile

• Fully registered GP with experience in primary care.
• Commitment to patient‑centred, compassionate care.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Interest in professional development and service improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EMIS Web clinical system.
• Clinical assessment, diagnosis and management of diverse conditions.
