Sales Account Manager – Managed Services Provider

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sales Account Manager to join our fast‑growing IT Managed Services Provider in Wallingford. You will own existing client relationships, uncover new business opportunities and act as a trusted adviser, helping customers maximise the value of our managed services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow existing client accounts while identifying new sales opportunities.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, tenders and commercial agreements and drive them to successful closure.
• Cross‑sell and upsell across the managed services portfolio.
• Attend networking, supplier and industry events to generate leads and strengthen relationships.
• Monitor account performance, sales metrics and forecasts, recommending actions to support growth.
• Collaborate closely with the Managing Director and technical team to deliver tailored solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in account management, business development or customer success within a B2B environment.
• Strong consultative selling approach with a focus on long‑term client relationships.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and influence commercial strategy.

Required skills

• Experience using a CRM system to manage pipelines and accounts.
