Sales Administrator – Fixed‑Term (12 months)

About the role

We are seeking a Sales Administrator to join our client’s team in Birchwood, Warrington on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role focuses on processing customer orders, invoicing and supporting the supply‑chain function, offering a clear pathway to a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately enter customer orders into a bespoke ERP system.
• Generate invoices for all sales orders.
• Communicate proactively with customers regarding order status and changes.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers via email and phone.
• Prepare customs export documentation for shipments outside the UK.
• Coordinate with third‑party warehouses and hauliers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Perform general administrative duties as required.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Competent IT user with experience of Word and Excel.
• Previous experience in a customer‑facing role is desirable.
• Positive, flexible attitude with a willingness to learn and develop within the business.

What we offer

• Salary: £27,830 per annum.
• 36.5‑hour week – Monday‑Thursday 8:30‑17:00, Friday 8:30‑14:30.
• 22 days holiday plus bank holidays (with option to add 5 days).
