Sales Administrator

About the role

Berry Recruitment is seeking an experienced Sales Administrator to join a specialised UK & European supplier based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. This full‑time position involves supporting the sales process, managing customer data and ensuring smooth coordination between sales, purchasing, warehouse and production teams.

Key responsibilities

• Enter quotations and sales orders into SAP from telephone, email or fax.
• Respond to customer queries regarding order status, pricing and other sales‑related issues.
• Create and maintain customer accounts and relevant information in SAP CRM.
• Liaise with Purchasing, Warehouse and Machine Shop to meet delivery requirements.
• Maintain customer blanket order schedules and process production orders and BOMs.
• Handle credit‑card payments and ensure accurate financial recording.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a sales administration, customer service or similar administrative role.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure.
• Positive, flexible and team‑oriented attitude.
