Sales Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sales Administrator to join a busy UK distribution team in Staplehurst, supporting end‑to‑end order fulfilment and delivering high‑quality customer service. The role is full‑time, Monday‑Friday, based in a modern office environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide telephone and email support, handling enquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Process sales orders, quotations, acknowledgements and delivery documentation.
• Maintain CRM/ERP systems, order trackers and accurate customer records.
• Coordinate deliveries, collections, returns, credits and courier paperwork.
• Liaise with Sales, Warehouse, Operations, Quality and Management teams.
• Support purchase orders, stock processes and general sales administration.
• Ensure all records are audit‑ready, correctly filed and compliant with company procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of sales and customer‑service processes.

Required profile

• Experience in customer service, sales administration or office support.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities.
• Confident written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Experience using CRM and/or ERP systems (desirable).
