Sales Administrator – Temp to Permanent

About the role

A well‑established and growing organisation is seeking a proactive, customer‑focused Sales Administrator to join their team in Waltham Abbey. You will work closely with the Sales Manager and an external sales team, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day sales administration.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Provide administrative support to the external sales team and act as the first point of contact for enquiries via phone and email.
• Supply pricing information, assist with order management and conduct outbound calls to existing and prospective customers.
• Maintain accurate customer, product and pricing data, coordinate delivery updates and resolve service queries.
• Support invoicing, credit notes and payment enquiries, and analyse customer activity to identify repeat‑business opportunities.

Required profile

• Previous experience in sales administration, customer service or sales support.
• Strong organisational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Experience with CRM systems (advantageous).
• Experience with ERP systems (advantageous).

What we offer

• Salary £32,000‑£35,000 per year, dependent on experience.
• Temporary‑to‑permanent contract with an immediate start.
• Full‑time hours: Mon‑Thu 8:00‑17:00, Fri 8:00‑16:30.
