Sales Administrator – Vehicle Administration

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Administrator to join our automotive team in Carlisle. You will support Sales Executives and Management by handling vehicle paperwork, invoicing and ensuring data accuracy across our dealership network.

Key responsibilities

• Process vehicle invoices, tax cars and register warranty information.
• Assist with ownership changes, used‑car taxing and cherished plate transfers.
• Maintain up‑to‑date, accurate and GDPR‑compliant customer and vehicle records.
• Keep vehicle stock books tidy and reconcile month‑end reports.
• Register new vehicles using the government RAV system.
• Manage a high volume of transactions, prioritising workload efficiently.
• Liaise with internal and external retailers to process vehicle transfers and swaps.
• Provide specification details and paperwork for vehicles traded at auction.

Required profile

• Previous experience in vehicle administration or a similar automotive role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Good organisational skills and the capacity to handle multiple tasks.
• Understanding of GDPR requirements for data handling.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the government RAV (formerly AFRL) registration system.
