Sales Advisor

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Advisor to join a well‑established client in Avonmouth on a temporary basis. You will be the first point of contact for customers, delivering exceptional service while identifying sales opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of inbound customer calls and process orders accurately.
• Provide excellent service, understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
• Upsell and cross‑sell where appropriate to maximise sales.
• Build strong relationships through engaging conversations and follow‑up on quotations.
• Promote current offers and product promotions.
• Maintain accurate customer records in internal systems.
• Work towards sales, quality and productivity targets.
• Attend regular product training sessions to develop knowledge.

Required profile

• Previous experience in customer service, sales, telesales or a contact‑centre environment.
• Confident and professional telephone manner.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work towards individual and team targets.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Self‑motivated with a proactive attitude.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

What we offer

• Salary: £26,388 per annum.
• 38.5 hours per week, Monday‑Friday 8:15 am – 5:00 pm.
• Fixed‑term contract with potential temp‑to‑perm.
• Start date: Monday 3 August 2026.
