Sales and Business Development Lead

About the role

JCW Guided Solutions is launching a consulting and advisory practice at the intersection of workforce strategy, AI and organisational change. As the Sales and Business Development Lead you will create and drive new business across the US and UK, turning existing JCW client relationships into buyers of this new proposition while building fresh pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage a pipeline of new opportunities across the US and UK using outreach, networking, events and referrals, and own the associated revenue targets.
• Own the full sales cycle – from first contact, qualification and proposal writing to closing – while engaging C‑suite and senior leadership buyers.
• Convert existing JCW Group client relationships into buyers of the consulting and advisory offering.
• Provide market intelligence to the founder and internal teams, shaping the proposition’s positioning and messaging.
• Experiment with AI and automation tools, improve processes, and maintain rigorous CRM and pipeline discipline.
• Develop a personal and company brand on LinkedIn and other social platforms, and support creation of sales collateral and event participation.

Required profile

• Background in consulting, advisory or professional‑services sales, preferably within regulated environments such as financial services.
• Proven ability to build a pipeline independently and engage C‑suite or VP‑level stakeholders.
• Credibility in either the US or UK market with the capacity to gain traction in the other.
• Strong curiosity about the future of work, AI and technology‑driven organisational change.
• Comfort with ambiguity, a bold point of view and excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Existing network of prospective buyers or demonstrable success in building one.
