About the role

Join Yuppiechef’s new East London store as a Sales Assistant, delivering an exceptional omni‑channel customer experience while supporting the launch of the brand’s latest location.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service to every visitor, creating memorable interactions.
• Maintain an inviting and well‑presented store environment that showcases the brand and product range.
• Accurately process purchases through the POS system.
• Receive, store, and merchandise stock according to internal procedures.
• Handle and resolve customer complaints in line with brand standards.
• Continuously learn product knowledge and share up‑to‑date information with customers.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about food, cooking and entertaining.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and driven to achieve goals.
• Strong sense of responsibility for delivering a memorable customer experience.
• Enjoys sharing knowledge and ensuring customers leave smiling.
• Goal‑driven and eager to develop within a dynamic retail team.

Required skills

• Grade 12 / Matriculation.
• At least 2 years experience in a premium retail or hospitality environment.
• Familiarity with POS and stock management systems and comfortable using technology.
