Sales Assistant – Flexible Part‑Time Hours

About the role

Join City Plumbing as a Sales Assistant on a flexible, part‑time basis. You will work on the trade counter and over the phone, delivering excellent service and driving sales while enjoying a supportive team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager in achieving and exceeding sales targets at optimum margins.
• Serve customers on the trade counter and via telesales, promoting a first‑class service.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards on the trade counter and in the warehouse.
• Assist with general branch duties, including occasional driving tasks.

Required profile

• Team‑oriented with a strong focus on results.
• Integrity, honesty and a customer‑centric attitude.
• Flexibility to work additional hours during peak winter heating season.
• Previous experience in sales or customer assistance, preferably within the plumbing/heating sector.

Required skills

• Knowledge of plumbing and heating products.
