Sales Assistant (Part‑time)

About the role

Join Savers as a part‑time Sales Assistant in Darlington, working around 12 hours a week with flexible shifts. You’ll be the friendly face of the store, helping customers find great deals and ensuring the shop looks inviting.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, providing product information and recommendations.
• Maintain store standards, keeping displays tidy and visually appealing.
• Process transactions accurately using the point‑of‑sale system.
• Support stock replenishment and organise merchandise on the shop floor.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent service.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about retail and customer service.
• Enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment and flexible shift patterns.
• Team‑player with a positive, can‑do attitude.
• Reliable and punctual, able to work mornings, evenings, weekends as needed.

Required skills

• Basic numeracy for handling cash and transactions.
• Effective communication with customers and colleagues.
